Ingredients
  

Chicken Bowl
  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 0.5 cup honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets steamed

Method
 

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Whisk soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until browned and cooked through.
  4. Pour sauce into the skillet and bring to a simmer, stirring until thick and glossy.
  5. Steam broccoli until tender-crisp.
  6. Assemble bowls with rice, chicken, and broccoli. Garnish and serve.

Notes

Adjust sweetness or saltiness to taste and add chili flakes for heat.
