Ingredients

Chicken Filling
  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast boneless skinless, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
Creamy Garlic Sauce
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp dried parsley
Assembly
  • 4-6 flour tortillas large burrito size
  • 2 cups shredded cheese mozzarella/cheddar blend
  • 1 tbsp butter for frying

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Mixing bowls
  • Chef's Knife
  • Cutting Board

Method

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, lemon juice, and parsley. Set aside.
  2. Dice chicken breast into small cubes. In a bowl, toss chicken with olive oil, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes until golden and cooked through (165°F). Remove from heat.
  4. Warm tortillas in the microwave for 20 seconds to make them pliable.
  5. Assemble wraps: Spread garlic sauce on center of tortilla, top with cooked chicken and shredded cheese.
  6. Fold in sides, then roll up tightly from the bottom.
  7. Wipe out the skillet and melt butter over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down in the pan.
  8. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Serve immediately.

Notes

Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking chicken to ensure a good sear.
