Ingredients
  

Chicken Teriyaki
  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 0.25 cup honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 0.25 cup water
Bowls
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups broccoli steamed
  • 1 cup carrots sliced

Method
 

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions and keep warm.
  2. Whisk soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and water in a bowl.
  3. Cook chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through.
  4. Pour sauce into skillet and simmer until thickened and glossy.
  5. Steam or sauté vegetables until tender-crisp.
  6. Assemble bowls with rice, chicken, vegetables, and toppings.

Notes
